When I first came to Jesus Pizza I wasn’t expecting much, but I was glad at the opportunity to talk about God at school. For the first 2 weeks or so I wasn’t really invested and came mostly for the pizza, but as time progressed I began to truly grow fond of this time with other believers and learning about Jesus. I enjoyed more than the pizza and found my spirit genuinely desiring to go. I enjoyed meeting people like Doug, Kaleb and Ryan who were there to listen to my testimony and issues. Despite the fact I found Jesus months before the school year even started, they boosted my faith and it’s been a blessing from no other than God Almighty and Jesus Christ to meet them. It’s actually a little nostalgic looking back on it because of how much of a journey it’s been.

When I began attending Core, I was already fairly deep in Jesus Pizza and I was just excited to go deeper. I was shocked at how many people showed up, and I actually enjoyed Core more than Jesus Pizza because of the Spiritual sustenance alongside the fact that afterwards me and Doug have had great conversations that helped me by getting things off my chest. I enjoyed having Core every week and going deeper not only with God, but with others that he blessed me with. I cannot express my gratitude to God for this opportunity and these people he’s placed in my life. Jesus Pizza and Core were likely the pinnacle of my Wednesdays and Thursdays.
