Campus Life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as life-long followers of Jesus Christ. Campus Life encourages a balanced life – mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially

Douglass MS / HS

YFC Impact club meets every Wednesday during the students lunch. We have core leadership students, but once a month we make club available to all students.  Our teacher sponsors, Mjr. Gaskin Sgt. Ward of the Douglass ROTC and freshman principle Ms. Tami Taylor help provide the space we use to meet with our kids.

One of the campus Coordinators is Dana Dixon, who has been serving Youth For Christ Douglass Middle School & Freshman Club for 4 years. Along with Sean Johnson, who heads up High school, they both create an environment that allows the students to feel free to discuss  every day life challenges. By doing so, they are able to impart scripture, prayer and life lessons that the students can use to improve their leadership skills and their walk with Christ.

John Marshall MS / HS

It's been 10 plus years that YFC youth leaders have had a presence and interacted with the students at JMHS Campus. Wednesdays @10:15am 11:20 am 12:05Pm .The name of the leadership program has changed many times but the vision and mission has been the same.

Building meaningful mentorship relationships with the students by impacting their lives through scripture and pushing  education, impacting their school by being involved in volunteering to clean up the cafeteria and sharing what they learn during club to their fellow students. Finally impacting the city by volunteering at the food bank packaging food partnering with City rescue mission in massive street clean ups.

- Mr Howard is the Secretary to the Principles office  who ensures that we have a room to meet in and makes announcements about where and when club is
-Benjamin Nsakashalo and Hilary Stevenson tag team JMHS  attending to middle school and high school students needs.

Millwood MS / HS

The Millwood Campus Life program meets every Friday during first and second lunch in the library. This program is for grades 9th through 12th. We do not discriminate against any students wanting to attend.

Campus Life coordinators is Les and Mary Thomas. They have been serving Youth For Christ at Millwood for 6 years. Together, we create an environment that allows the students to feel free to discuss every day life challenges. By doing so, Les and Mary are able to impart scripture, prayer, and life lessons that the students can use to improve their leadership skills. The students are also able to improve their walk with Christ. All students are encouraged to attend youth service at their local church or home church.

At Millwood, we take it a step further by building relationships with the students. We accomplish this by doing activities outside of school. We believe real change comes from real relationships.

Northeast Academy HS

The Northeast Academy campus life club meets every Monday during lunch. The student leaders engage in relevant conversations centered around faith, servant leadership, character, and biblical knowledge.

The Campus life coordinator, Melanie Clift, is supported by many faculty and is sponsored by Marylin Barnett, principal secretary. Students are encouraged to engage in their local church and community. The Plug youth ministry also partners with Northeast and help to bridge the gap and help students have a place to belong, fellowship, and worship.

The Plug Youth ministries meet at the Bridge Urban Youth Center and focus on reaching our demographic and teach basic and advanced theology while providing a fun and safe environment for students in the community.
The Plug takes place on Wednesday nights between 6p and 8p.

Oklahoma Centennial MS / HS

The Oklahoma Centennial Mid-high School campus life club meets every Thursday during lunch. The student leaders engage in relevant conversations centered around faith, servant leadership, character, and biblical knowledge.

Campus life's coordinator is Melanie Clift, and she is joined by Ryan Fisher (Britton Christian) and  numerous faculty who facilitate and encourage students to engage in their local church and community. We work closely with and have volunteers from Britton Christian Church, LifeChurch, and Peoples' Church in Okc. Students are encouraged to plug in and participate in any of these ministries.

All ministries focus on reaching our demographic and teach basic and advanced theology while providing a fun and safe environment for students in the community.
All take place on Wednesday nights between 6p and 8p.

MIDTOWN  |  Campus Life

Midtown Campus Life

Harding Charter Preparatory HS

Wednesday at lunch (11:30) is the meeting time for Impact Club at Harding. We meet in the gym because its the only room big enough for club! Kyle and Moriah Stewart lead an incredible Impact Commission team of adults that are the hands and feet of our ministry. The secret to the success of the ministry is longevity of God following believers. (OK, it’s no secret, when God’s people are diligent and long-suffering God’s work is evident.)

Harding is a unique school because it serves students from the whole city, picks only the most driven students, and pushes them to a higher standard of excellence. The ultimate thing we wish to communicate to these students is that achievement isn't necessary to please God and identity derived from accomplishment will always crumble, but founded in God will never fail.

Students are encouraged to attend theologically sound churches they have relationships with (if they are seeking) we invite them to try Bridgeway, Life.Church, Frontline, or Britton Christian

Northwest Classen HS

Impact Club meets Thursday at Lunch (11:15) in the Small Theater. We partner with Portland Avenue Baptist and Frontline to reach students in club and beyond. Tony Mullican, Will Gaines and Drew Ray are bent on discipling and empowering these high schools to be the ministers of their school. They share responsibilities of running club and work together planning and developing messages and new ways for students to lead.

NWC is our Rev.7:9-10 campus, with a student population of around 1,200 over 30 countries are represented. Our heart is burdened for the nations and we are honored to get to serve them here. We believe that through God’s work at NWC; families and nations will be reached with the truth of God’s word.

Students are urged to follow relationships to find a church home, we encourage them to stay at their doctrinally sound church or to try Portland Ave baptist or Frontline if they are searching for a church home.

Taft MS

Impact Club meets in Tuesdays at lunch time (12) in the art room (Ms. Dray’s room). Natalie Duncan and Chris Gulley do an excellent job of leading club and working with school administration to meet the needs of our students.

Impact Club at Taft resembles Psalm 133:1 reflecting unity in our Church body through community collaboration. Club is a partnership of several community organizations: NW Baptist Church, Community Advance, YoungLife, and First Priority. The heart of this partnership is in Gospel expression and representation, we all work together to reach students with a truth that is eternal and life changing.

Our students are encouraged to go to the church they have relationship and longevity with, we also suggest that any student needing a church home or interested in trying a new church to check out NW Baptist (across the street from their school)
